Residual is calculated on the processing revenue Square retains after interchange, refunds and chargebacks — not on your merchant's sales volume. Monthly totals under $50 are not paid out.
The model, stated plainly
PalomaFinTech receives a share of the payment-processing residual on merchants we refer. For merchants signed by a sub-agent, we pass through 100% of what we receive on that account to the agent. We do not take an override on your accounts. The residual is calculated on Square's adjusted processing revenue — not on your merchant's sales volume — so the honest way to read it is 'a share of the processor's margin', not a percentage of what the business rings up.
No salary, no draw
This is pure performance. There is no base and no advance — which is also why there's no quota and no territory.
You keep the recurring revenue
Residuals are paid monthly while the merchant keeps processing, your agreement is in good standing, and the upstream program remains in place. Months where your total is under $50 roll forward rather than paying out.
We handle the technical side
You source and close. We prepare the referral, configure the hardware and train the staff. Square owns the merchant account itself — underwriting, approval and account decisions are theirs, not ours.
Sell in your language
Spanish and Russian-speaking business owners are underserved in South Florida. If that's your community, it's an advantage.
What this is not
This is not a job and it is not passive income. Residual income compounds slowly and merchants churn. Agents who succeed here are already talking to business owners every week — through an existing book, a related service business, or their own community. If you need predictable income in the next 60 days, this is the wrong fit and we'd rather say so now.
What we ask
- You represent Square and GetMultiPOS accurately — no rate promises we haven't given you in writing, and no guarantees of approval
- You quote only the standard published pricing we send you — never your own numbers
- You never market Square's lending, banking or card products (Loans, Checking, Savings, Square Card, Instant Transfers, Bill Pay)
- You pass a basic background check
- You use only the approved materials for anything public-facing, and pull them within 10 days if we ask
- You hand off cleanly to our setup team once a merchant signs
Residual payout terms, the $50 monthly minimum, timing and clawback conditions are governed by the Sub-Agent Agreement, which you'll receive before signing anything. Our ability to pay depends on the upstream reseller program remaining in force — if it ends, residuals end, and we won't pretend otherwise.
